I have created a compact gearbox specifally for this car with 2 speeds, using a toggler so is setted: R-R-N-1-2.

Is easily moddable to put the third gear, but further increasing on gears almost surely cause power lack ( it happen already with standard size wheels ) and already reaches the game speedcap before getting full rpm, this so grant some torque on 2ND too.

Completely redesigned mechanics.
