A machine that requires a specifin miner of "ticks" before it outputs a signal.
A initial impulse/tick comes from the left cable and goes to the memory module. It activates the memory module, thus allowing a signal from the "sum" too to pass on. This signal than is checked from a floor. At the same time this signal goes back to the memory module, thus growing one with one unit.
The Unit is set by a Jumper attached to the "sum" tool. Thus every time a signal gets to the Memory module, it will be one unit higher than the previous one.
The Grapher will show the progress of the system.
HOW TO SET THE UNIT:
Depending on th value of the unit, a different amount of ticks is needed.to pass the signal on. To calculate how big the unit must be, you perform the following operation:
A=number of ticks required to activate the system.
X=Unit(value) of the jumper.
X= 1/A
For example if you need 40 hits to activate the system, X=1/40
1/40=0.025
Than you must set the Jumper to 0.025
Here is a simple table with the most common values:
2=0.500
3=0.334(in some cases you must increase the last digit with 1)
4=0.250
5=0.200
6=0.167
7=0.143
8=0.125
9=0.112
10=0.1000
20=0.05
40=0.025
80=0.0125
100=0.01
1000=0.001
Etc.
***as the number grows bigger, you will hvave to round to a further digit. Roundin on 3rd significant digit won't work with numbers above 10.
