Two examples on how to connect linear motors. Both examples pull the same amps except the far left motor from having to lift the secondary motor.

The lift on the left has 1/2 the lifting capacity as the lift on the right at the same ampacity. This is because the lift on the left lifts the weight twice as high at nearly the same speed(because of having to lift the secondary motor) as the lift on the right.

3 motors would give a 3x lift height or 3x lift capacity. The 3x height would suffer more losses from having to lift the extra motors above it, the more motors the more the loss, stacked 10x and then the first motor can't lift the other 9.
